Couldn't find starting strength

Seems to be out of print. Or at least prohibitively expensive.

So instead I picked up The Strength Training Anatomy Workout. Decent choice for general knowledge purposes?

From a quick scan of the book online it looks like it has lots of exercise but no real workouts or routines. You should be able to use the information from that book to perform starting strength correctly though. Do a solid 6 months of SS, and then branch out from there. Eat enough and sleep enough too and you'll see a ton of change regardless of what your goals are.

That was my thought as well. Fortunately we have free personal trainers in our work gym - think maybe I'll leave the book there and ask one of them to come up with some basic routines. Glad to know it wasn't a waste of money though!
