Could you recomend a study guide book or whatever for a CCNA exam?

yes i can...goto egay and get the cccna study guide by sybex, it comes as a package deal with a virtual lab that will simulate three routers and a switch for you to configure and will even let you creat your oen virtual network. its kinda cool and helpful since you wont be able to pass the ccna exam without some hands on router configing experience.

Try booksonline.com. I get all my tech books from there. Yes the have sybex and many others,including examcram.🙂
 
although i used sybex books for my mcse, i found the sybex ccna book sucked. i used 2 cisco books, their CCNA and ICND book. i did find the sybex etrainer pretty helpfull too.
 
I love the sybex w/virtual lab. You just can't beat it. (Too bad you missed the Buy.com deal of the day, it was 34 dollars 😛)
 
The sybex book for CCNA are exceptional. They are written by independant writers, CCNA is by Todd Lammar (spelling?). Sybex just publishes, Todd even produced the software independantely. So the relevance of a MCSE Sybex book is zero. Read the book, do some lab work and you'll pass.
 
Nothing beats real world experience. You can read all you want about the OSI model, Netware, and Token Ring, but it won't help you out when you need to reconfigure a simple VLAN or plan out changing your routing protocol from RIP to OSPF. Seriously consider the dual 2500 router setup if you have the cash (about $1000 last time I looked). Trying to learn networking without hands-on experience is like trying to cook Beef Wellington after reading the back of a hot-dog package.
