is still fun. For those who haven't seen it, and those who want to know what they forgot.

I actually managed 100% the first time. Which is lucky, because I guessed on two.

Sure I could if I studied for a few days and I guarantee at one point or another I knew or was made aware of all the facts needed to pass the test. The difference with immigrants is they were never made aware or required to be taught any of the information of the citizenship test in their native country and they sould know our history and branches before becoming a citizen /rant

passed it once for real, i'm sure i could do it again. Anyone who paid 20% attention in 9th grade History should be able to pass it. A pity that not that many people paid even that much attention.

it's so easy to study for it though regardless.

when my gf did it, they gave her 100 questions (all multiple choice with the exception of a few) and the actual test was compromised of I believe 20 of those 100 questions.

so we made 100 flash cards and she studied those for 30mins to an hour. out of those 100 or so questions, probably 75 of them were pretty much general knowledge that the majority of people who have had any history classes in the US would be able to tell you.

but she studied and passed it with flying colors.

Dude. There are 2 senators for every state. That's probably the easiest question on there.

Not bad for someone who's not a citizen. :p

Yeah, but you're almost a citizen. ;)

It asked for representatives.

How would I even know this one?
What INS form is used to apply to become a naturalized citizen?

Although important to an immigrant, it means nothing to those who already have their citizenship.

Well, you know:

1) It's not 100.
2) It's much larger than the senate (so not 50 or 102)

That leaves only 435.

Of course, you have to know all that first.

except his problem isn't that he didn't know the exact number, it's that he confused congress (the total between the senate and the representatives) with the senate.

Right, that is why I answered 100 when the answer is 435

Let me ask you this, can you name both of the senators for the state you live in?
