Could you live without a microwave?

I use my microwave daily. How would I heat up a can of soup? pot? That would take forever. I think people would start to eat more food cold instead of getting the oven or BBQ going.

We have a microwave but we rarely use it. We reheat on the stove or in the toaster oven.
