This. I've been trying to convince my wife to give up cable TV and we'd have OTA TV, Netflix, and PlayOn, but that idea has not gained traction.
Jesus, why would u need all 3?

The <100 items doesn't make sense to me. For instance, what is the purpose of getting rid of a functioning screw driver? It allows you to repair other items in your house and has 0 maintenance.
if you think all you need is a multitool then you arent actually very handy![]()
My entertainment, eating out, and grocery is greater than $1000 a month and at time it reach almost as high as $2000 a month. Transportation cost me $800~$850 a month, rent $950, utility/phones/internet is another $225 a month.
It is sad that I save less than $1000 a month on an income of greater than $70K per annum.
The best I can do for now is cut back to 1 car and save $200 month, cancel land line phone to save $25 a month, less tools shopping & cut out eating out would reduce another $400~500 month easily. And, may be move to a cheaper place that is closer to work to reduce an additional $400~$450 a month. Grand total of $1025~$1175 a month saving.
Hell no, I can't do it because I'm use to living large.
You are what is wrong with America today.

When I first started making decent money a few years ago everyone I knew kept telling me to get a house. I wish I hadn't listened and just rented a studio apartment. I would do exactly what iGas is doing, life is short.
Lifespan is 70-80 good years in the first world. Spending a little time taking care of business is hardly going to ruin it. Everyone says "live your life" but thinks that it means buying lots of shit you don't need and then dealing with responsibilities "later".I would do exactly what iGas is doing, life is short.
