I could have lived without it if I was never introduced to it. Like when I was in middle school, the internet didn't exist, or it was at least in it's begining stages.

But my life now revolves around the internet. The thing to do after school or work before was sit down in front of the tv for hours. Now I suppose most Americans have the same problem with the internet.

I can't live without it.

Would I want to live without it? No. Could I live without it? Certainly, just as I could live without electricity, a car, TV, CD players etc. It would not be the most pleasurable life but I would still live.

sure, i lived without it before i was ever on it so i'd adjust accordingly again.

although, the internet has made the world a whole lot smaller for me. for instance, i never in my life would be conversing with any of you if it weren't for the net.

People who have jobs that need the internet, could get a different job. Etc.

If I absolutely had to then yes. If I was forced to give up most of my other wordly luxuries in exchange for the internet then I would in a split second. If I had to live without the internet entirely, I could do it but I wouldn't be happy about it. LOL
