As in a year or more.

What would you do on the first day?

I think I would take Martin Lawrence's approach and just never wipe, I am not a fighter.

In reality, I would really try to not do anything that could land me in jail. 🙂
 
I think I could, would be a nice time to spend reading.... or neffing on at if I could get internet access 😛
 
Yes, I could make it. I would just open up a can of Whup Tushie. 😀

Seriously though, Id just be brawling from the second I got in. If I take a shank in the back, so be it. It is better than a "man shank" in the rear.
 
Hey buddy... I've been there and let me tell you most of you would be traded for a carton of smokes and a jail engineered tattoo gun in your first week....


but really if your not "hooked up" with an orginazation that has a presence in prison then you better join up quick or beat the S**t out of the biggest guy you can find.

That being said, ya i could handle it.
 
A guy I used to work with ended up going to prison this summer. He got in a fight with a driver on a city street. They guy came out of his car with a golf club and chased my friend. My friend mixed it up with him and eventually ( I don't know how this happend), jumped in the guys car and took off with it. He was drunk and crashed it into a pole further down the street. By that time the police were there.
He's in jail right now, in a cell with two other guys, and there's only two bunks. They make him sleep on the floor.
Anyone who says they can make it in jail, but posts here, is a liar. It would break you. I know personally I have NO desire to find out. You have to be a psychopath to make it.
 
depends on where you live, there is a reason why most western countries consider us prison a violation of basic human rights.
Happaned this or last year here, the government in Iceland refused to hand over a icelandic guy who was supposed to go on trial in the US unless he would be allowed to go through his sentence in a prison here.

edit. And even in Spain all the prisoners have internet access, even have their own webpage and everything.

I worked at a State prison for 6 years as a Corrections Officer before I became a LAN Admin. Could I make it in prison? No probably not since I was CO. If I went out into general population I'd be killed. I'd end up in the seg unit under protective custody doing all my time there. Locked down for 23 hours a day with one hour to go play handball in a rec. cage. Prison sucks balls and you have no idea how good it felt being able to leave after a 8 hour shift.

Well either you can handle it or you are broken. No matter what they try to do you've got to keep fighting it.

Oh great, I would have to worry about scat munchers in prison! I guess there are all kinds of crazies in prison. I figured people like that didn't get out much and wouldn't do things to get sent to prison, and if they did they would not be the one doing the pounding. Or is it that once you are in prison for some time your brain starts to make you go crazy. Come on, enjoying fecal matter?! I am glad that stuff gets flushed away. I don't like using port-a-pottys because you are so close to it.

I've been through years of inpatient rehab, juvenile hall, and lockdown reform school (in utah, no less) so Im fairly confident that you are wrong. Wouldn't want to, but I could handle it.
 
Anyone with a will to live can handle prison. The question is... how changed would they be after they came out of prison.

Apparently not enough. Look how many prisoners are repeat felons.

If feel if a person commits 3 seperate felonies, they should autmatically be put on death row.
