Well, If i had to go without electronics for a month I would be out of a job - but I could do it. Planning the apocylapse are we?

Also, remember 'technology' goes all the way back to fire. Placing an arbitrary line at technology less than thirty years old is silly, I suggest a challenge to use NO technology whatsoever. No fire, no clothes, no buildings, no spears or clubs, no rock tools, no medicine, no axes, and on and on.

Remember, everything you do is a technology, even communicating verbally and writing.

The subject doesn't say "technology," it says "gadgetry, toys, and electronics" ;)

Well...I'm changing the rules, so nyah! :p

PC/laptop (home and work): no way. Cellphone: I'd probably welcome the loss of it for a month. Sirius mobile unit: I suppose I could suffer by listening to terrestrial.

Sure, but I can't say I'd enjoy it. No TV and no beer make mugs something something.

I've done it before, I could do it again. It would be extremely detrimental to my wellbeing though. I attend classes online, kinda need my computers. :)

My only problem is that they are required for work. W/O cell phone I'm not on call which is fine with me. The biggest problem is I'm a programmer, so I would have a month long vacation to bike, camp, read books and play chess. Sounds like a grand ol time.

I have gone without technology for a while, but usually because I had something better to do.

Usually when I leave on vacation it's for 3+ weeks, and since it's mainly the Dominican Republic, I am not near any forms of technology. (At least where I stay...)

When I am home though, I don't think I could stay away for long.

Hell yeah! That'd be awesome. Necessities would be: Food, Backpack, Money, Clothes, Weapon...
