Could use your help for a reseach project

I've been working on a research project this summer studying technology usage among consumers, and for part of it, I've designed a simple survey to which I'd really appreciate your guys' responses.

All you have to do is answer questions about how you use various technologies and services, and it should only take 5-10 minutes to answer all the questions.

I will randomly award two $50 American Express gift certificates to those who respond.

Also, please forward this to any friends you think might have some good insights and would be interested in participating.

How are you awarding the gift certificates? By the email address submitted with the survey? How do I know you're being responsible with my email address?

Each person who responds is assigned a number, so when the survey ends, I will use a random number generator to pick the winners, and then email them.

The names and email addresses aren't important for the actual statistics so I will simply delete them when the raffle is complete. FWIW, you have my word that I will not use your personal information for any other purpose.

Edit: The content of the quiz was about Web 2.0, so here is a semi-related rant.
About 5 years ago, I was talking to a guy about the future of computer software. He used some business software, that operated on rotating keys. In that conversation, he jokingly said that in the future, you won't even own software, and that it will just be streamed to your computer with a licence to use it for set period of time. I fear that day is near.

That is definitely one possible future, but at least things have been pretty positive for us consumers so far. Almost all of the new web-served applications we are seeing these days are either very cheap to subscribe to or totally free and ad supported. As long as the software is cheap and accessible, I don't so much care about how its being delivered to me, even if it is a subcription model.
