Hey guys,
today I decided I was bored and would get rid of that thermal pad that my HSF came with. I was planning on leaving it on for only like 2 days after I built my system and then replacing it with generic radio shack stuff and see what Temp. differences I saw. then I was gonna see if it was even better with AS. well, i got lazy and for last month I had just pad on. I think my temps were like 42 degrees idle or something, but thats with Asus's probe which reads kinda high. (BTW I have a volcanoII). Today I spread some radio shack stuff on this badboy and VOILA 35 degree Celcius idle temps, after my comps been on all day. thats a pretty good increase right. I havent checked the temps after gaming but they havent gone past 36 degrees all day, when they used to get up to 46.
hows that for a suprise?
