I believe you are thinking of purpose built electronic surveillance aircraft like the SR-71 and the U-2. F-117s were retired this year, but the B-2 (which is much newer aircraft) is still in active service. In addition, the F-22 is a stealthy aircraft which has a bombing role.

Sure they could do it. Wouldn't get away with it. Bush could go on live TV, meet with Ahmadinejad, shoot him, and claim he didn't do it too.

Doubt Bush has learned to handle a gun in his military time. So it might be wiser to instead send Cheney with a box of beer and a hunting rifle :D

It might be easier to to pay off one of their religious leaders into convincing some of them that Allah doesn't approve of nuclear programs and have them take care of the problem. I'm sure a car bomb won't be seen as an American attack.

It is the shock & awe effect using the stealth technology, why would US deny doing it ?

No stealth aircraft is stealthy with its bomb bays open. A large radar signature suddenly appearing over a target, dropping bombs, and then dissapearing could only be one thing.

I do not think the USA wants to start a long range war with Russia. Russia has a right to defend its citizens.

we still have the B2, and I wouldn't put it passed us to have something else that is still top secret.

There is a probably quite a bit of stuff we have that is not public.
I was in the Navy starting in 1989 and there is stuff that I know of personally that is still not public. I love when people think that everything we have is listed on the internet.
