I agree. It was the greatest hoax since AREA 51. I came away with great admiration actually. It was better than reading a fiction book. What I found sad was the absolute backlash. I understand some of the hurt feelings, especially the way he depicted her and her daughter getting the ticket to a dirt nap, but if you can get past the feeling of being dooped, it was absolute genius.

I was around when it all went down. I never really paid much attention to Dennilfloss. He always seemed like the biggest friggin attention whore I'd ever seen. Every other day there was some nonsensical babble about him from the other posters. Like they couldn't remove their noses from his ass even once to take a breath.

To me the majority of his posts reeked of more dorkiness than should be humanly possible.

Not that there's nothing wrong with that....so now we see the same from the gaytot crowd. look at me I'm here and I'm queer. Have you looked up queer in the dictionary? Take a guess what it means.

Yeah that's right I'm not PC. So what? Deal with it. The only PC I believe in has a mobo, cpu and ram. The other PC is just dishonesty vieled as acceptance.

Just look at yourself? Whining like a lil %^%%^! You probably were one of those who just crumpled when you found out you had been dooped. Everybody was dooped including me, but all the aftermath was lil over the top. It may was tasteless, but completely genius. I'll even defend Dennil a bit as well. Because after he told the truth I can see how things got out of hand and quite frankly he paniced. Everybody does stuff wrong, but while his genius erred on the side of tasteless, I don't hold any grudges against the guy. A lot of things in life at the time they happen are not funny, but when you look back on certain things they can be funny. I think this was one of those times and know a lot of folks may not feel that way, thats ok too. But man sometimes you gotta cuss a person out, laugh, forgive, and move on. Now if the prescriptions don't help the emotional swings, maybe you should try a blanket?

I don't think it's necessarily "American fascination" with gay relationships. I think a lot of it is that gays tend to STRONLY promote the fact that they are gay and are in a gay relationship. You don't see many straight guys promoting the fact that they are straight every chance they get. It's just that like I said, a lot (not all of course) of gays have to continually mention the fact that they are in fact gay with little comments or just outright saying it non-stop (this is not direted at Rbloedow or GeekDrew, I don't even know them except I always read one name as r.d.blow for some reason)

If you think straight guys don't promote the fact that they're straight, you've just grown blind to it. Every turned head, every whistle, everytime you nudge your friend, every babe thread you make or post in, it's all part of you showing that you like girls. Straight guys talk about (verbally or not) girls way more than gay men talk about guys. It's just that society has grown so blind and accepting of the straight machismo that when gay men do anything of the sort, it's extremely conspicuous.

After further thought on the subject, I went through two phases. During phase one I thought, what a couple of attention whores. Why would they announce their relationship on the boards? What could possibly be the point? They're trying to get attention for being gay. But then, I thought, hey, you haven't dated in months, step outside your cynical self for a moment. And thus I arrived at phase two, in which I realized that both of these guys, rbloedow and geekdrew are both long time ATOT regulars. They're not trying to tell the world about their relationship, they're just telling their friends. And there's not a single thing unusual about that.

Gah, I actually got a bit misty with that last part. Don't worry, I'll be cynical again in a minute. Anyways, best of luck to you guys. All the love.
