Could someone with Java WebStart test my application?

Unfortunately because of firewall issues between my dorm and the university, I can't test my application and I don't want to go to the computer lab (it's cold out).

I developed this application with Sun Java 1.4.

The splash screen comes up for it but it never runs. Then again I have 1.4.1.0.1....er something like that. Java webstart 1.2

Do you have Console output enabled? It's under Preferences--Advanced. Could you tell me what the error message is?

I've seen people asking before to have websites tested under various browsers, don't see how this is any different.

There is not an option like that. I do have show Java Console enabled though. Nothing shows up.

Try it now, I think I may have forgotten to put the updated file in the public_html directory. 😱

Ok, got it to work. It won't work through the desktop icon but it does through Java Webstart now after enabling show console. When I loaded the file it gave me this...

Yep, that was it. It loads ok with desktop icon now too.
