Could someone really be this dumb (post from complaint board)

lol at first i was like WTF is your problem? they baught something and didn't get it..

then seen the CC number..

LOL WHY!?!?! There's like no reason to give the CC number like that. It's not like trying to figure out a computer problem and having to give the specs lol.

I think what happens is lot of people are sheltered from the fact that the internet is public. They're sitting at home on their computer and the last thing on their mind is the fact that they could enter information on it that the world can see. Though, posting on a message board with a question seems to indicate this person does realize at least someone will see it.

Did you responed with, "I'm sorry, I can't verify this infomation without your CCID #. Could you please post the # on the back of your card and I will be happy to assist?"

😀

At my work we get electronic customer messages all the time with bank account numbers, social security numbers, passwords, personal information; the works. On one hand I figure they just assume we're trustworthy, but on the other hand people are willing to release that stuff way too liberally I think.

Then one time when I gently suggested to a woman she not include her SSN in emails she went superbitch mode and told me if that's our policy we should tell her before she emails us 🙄

if you went to a mall in a suit with a clipboard asking name/DOB/SSN for no particular reason when asked i wonder how many you'd get.

in college i remember you could go into any building with professor's offices and pick up stacks of homework with names & ssns.

OK, I played the good samaritan and replied to her post. I imagine it was some old grandma that doesn't understand those message boards are public.

Holy cow. I started reading some of the other reviews and almost all of them are the most uneducated internet users in existence.

I got scammed by USAScammerwin7codes.com

I was looking for a loan online and USAscamLOANSTODAY contacted ME (i have no idea how they knew i was looking for a loan) so I sent them money and haven't heard from them again

Lol... which one of you dbags created an account on that site as Facebook, Inc. and asked for her 3 digit code.
Hahaha...

I didn't know bank account number sharing was bad until I emailed my bank about my account and the CSR told me... Only time I did it. Woops?
