Could someone please tell me the difference between these two?

Lexmark Optra E312 and E312L.

The only major differences I can see are:

- Postscript 2
- OS support
- standard memory

Is it worth the extra to go with the E312?

Only if you need Novell/ *NIX support or Postscript (plus the 75 PS fonts).
Personally I detest vertical feed printers.
