well, i've been screwin around with this card trying to get TV out to work all yesterday... to no avail..

i was hoping someone with the same card could help me (or someone who knows the card!)..

i'm running winXP pro... i have the black cord going from the video card to my TV (on the TV it says "input" where i plug it in)... and i went and got a (yellow ends) RCA cable (video) and had that going from my video card to the TV.. (i didnt have one and i thought that, that was why it wasnt working)...

i installed the latest detonator drivers (the only way to get the twin view display options)..

i installed the latest via 4 in 1 drivers (using P3V4X mobo) and finally got it to stop crashing when i went into display > settings...

i click the "input" button on my TV (turns screen black with "VIDEO" in the corner) as i assume putting the TV in this mode would enable it to work...

i tried removing the jumper on the video card (switches from PAL format to NTSC format) ??

i installed the nvidia wdm driver (i dunno why, i thought i may need it??) and now i keep getting prompted to install drivers for new hardware (but i never installed new hardware)... i go into device manager and uninstall all the things that were put there from the wdm driver that are highlighted/not fully working) but stupid "add hardware wizard" keeps popping up and prompting me to install drivers...

i'm out of ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated :)

thanks in advance.

I doubt it but does the GF2 MX have a jumper to enable/disable TV out... I thought i've heard of something like that

i dunno... there is only a jumper to switch betweenTV formats.. jumper on = PAL format \ jumper off = NTSC format..
when i go into display > settings i right click the display #1 choose select output device and it only shows analog monitor (good because my display #1 is my monitor)... but i do the same for display #2 and it shows the same... the select TV type is greyed out...

i'm frustrated now... the only reason i bought this stupid card was for TV out.. i was happy with my elsa TNT2!

i give up... unless someone can help me??

thnx.
