Could someone do a Resume for my wife and I???

I am not good with spelling or putting one together and if have have ever read anyhting I have written it shows 😛
I need to get one made for my wife and I. I am going to try to get into advertising on the radio and my wife just needs one incase I cannot find a job that can meet up with my disability requirements.

If you can hook me up that would be super 😀😀😀
Thanks in advance.

Well if someone would do one out of the kindness of thier hearts that would be great but if not what is the rate for something like this. Were not talking much on them my wife has had 2 jobs her entire life and were going to be creative with mine and say I only had like 4-5😉

$40/hr, 1 hour minimum. I would have to get some info from each of you...overall probably take 2 hours.

"Could someone do a resume for me and my wife?"

See you point out why I am asking and not doing them myself.

I'm still trying to convince myself that "for my wife and me" is incorrect, but "for my wife and I" is definitely incorrect.

i'm in the same hole. I had my last job for ~5 years and I'm going to be terminated due to a workforce reduction. I don't have much time to get my resume together. HELP!!! Good ol' Kmart 🙄

🙂

EDIT: man... i explained that poorly.

it should always be the other person before yourself.
when trying to determine when to use ME or I... take the other person out and see if it is correct.

please do this for my wife and i. please do this for i.

so it should read... please do this for my wife and me.

His statement should be "Could someone do resumes for me and my wife?" to be accurate and gramatically correct.

Edit: after all, does he want one or two resumes to be written?

Nope it is My wife and I.

My wife and I were treated to dinner at this restaraunt.

My wife and I go there at least once a month.

Put "me" in place of the "I" and it doesnt sound right

And this say's I am right too 😀

I cant believe I remembered something right from my english teacher 😱

It depends on the context of the sentence. "Please do a resume for me" is much better than "Please do a resume for I". However, "I will be going to the ballgame" is much better than "Me will be going to the ballgame".

I think he wants just one.

Nope, he said "and my wife just needs one"...

To be more appropriate, he would want to change "Could" for "Would" because someone *could* make him one, but he wants to know if someone actually WILL write one for him. Thus, "Would someone please write resumes for me and my wife?" would be how I would have written it.

Edit: 😱

Why does the other person always have to go first? That sounds more like a style preference than a rule of grammar.

Edit: I see someone else already asked that... hmmm... this doesn't seem to be something that's easy to google, so I think I'll just not care. 🙂

funboy, I'll help you but I can't write the whole thing for you. How about you write it first, then I (or someone else) can proofread it and make it sound/look better?

Are you at all qualified for the job you want to get?
