I had two western digital 80 gb drives striped using my EPOX 8k3a+'s onboard Highpoint HPT372 controller. At some point the array corrupted and it turned out one of the drives had failed. i had the drive replaced and i'm considering setting up the array again.
do you think the controller could have caused the drive to fail?
