When I launch the game and it says this

Initializing OpenGL driver
...getting DC: succeeded
...GLW_ChoosePFD( 16, 16, 0 )
...23 PFDs found
...GLW_ChoosePFD failed
...GLW_ChoosePFD( 16, 16, 0 )
...23 PFDs found
...GLW_ChoosePFD failed
...failed to find an appropriate PIXELFORMAT
...restoring display settings
...WARNING: could not set the given mode (3)
...shutting down QGL
...unloading OpenGL DLL
...assuming '3dfxvgl' is a standalone driver
...initializing QGL
...WARNING: missing Glide installation, assuming no 3Dfx available
...shutting down QGL
GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem

the part in the bold is the problem I think. How do I fix it and get it running again. I downloaded the newest detonator drivers for my geforce 2 mx. I am running Windows 98SE.

MOHAA dosn't run in glide on GeForce cards IIRC. Only ATI, VooDoo and some others. Just like with Deus Ex, unless you downloaded the patch (witch was released WAY after the game was out) to run in openGL, you were stuck with D3D. GF3's and up may do it, not to sure though.

What it means is that you have previously owned a 3dfx card and did not properly delete all reference to it before installing your new card.

As a result games still think there is a 3dfx card present and attempt to use it.
