I had recently attempted to remove all spyware from my computer, but I guess I got a little delete happy and deleted some dlls that maybe I needed (4 of them to be exact). Now when I click on links from within programs (such as links within AIM profiles or the link to go to http:/www.fileplanet.com/betas/starwars_galaxies.aspx), I get an error (for SWG) telling me it "Could not execute the external program http:/www.fileplanet.com/betas/starwars_galaxies.aspx" at which time the setup program freezes. In AIM I get an error telling me that for any link there is an unknown handler and I need to tell it how to open http, even though i still opens in FIREFOX. When I already have an Internet Explorer window open, the SWG setup can open an external link fine. I already tried reinstalling Firefox, to no effect. Any ideas as to the problem? I cannot for the life of me remember the names of the dlls unfortunately...

Thanks in advance,

(note: a '/' is removed from the links)

Reinstall IE perhaps. The error AIM is giving you would seem to indicate you've deleted the registry entries that tell it what type of program opens html files or whatever kinds of links you're trying to open. Same is probably the reason the SWG page doesn't open, since the system doesn't know what an aspx file type is. If you open the file from within the browser, then the browser itself takes over figuring out what kind of file it is and can open it.
