Could I use this?

Hello, I have been tearing apart a friend's old Dell recently that no longer works and is out of warranty. I noticed that it had this card - http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3759&item=5210271918&rd=1

Could I use this in my new rig as a temporary graphics card until I get my 7800?

thats a video capture card, i dont think you could use it as a videocard

Wait nvm, I feel dumb. You are right, there is no VGA port. So what is that port though?

hmm... That looked longer than a regular vga port.

I dunno, plug it in and see if it works?

Is it a COM port or something... those are a bit longer IIRC...

The 26 pin external connector port allows you to connect an optional Dazzle interface breakout box (not included) for connecting various analog input and output devices, but it is not necessary when using the Firewire port as described above. 😀
