could i rig this:

in the shut down menu have options to restart to the other os's in my win2k bootloader, like to linux or beos or something??

any body think its doable? all hints tips any thing will help

you need to make a script that will change your boot.ini file. Make the OS you want to boot to your default OS, and it will boot it. The bad thing is that this will be your new default OS. You will also need a script for each OS. One for beos, one for linux and one for win2k if you want to change it back. There is also some command that will restart the computer instead of having to go to restart in the start menu. If you can find it you could add this too, so you just run your boot to linux... it changes your default OS to something else, and then it restarts for you.

dont know how to do scripting, ill look into rigging that though, any one else have any other suggestions, registry settings? it has boot to dos, y not other os's this is for 98se mainly. thanx for all input
