Could I have fried my MOBO?

I Pulled my keyboard from the USB port while the computer was ON and the second I pulled it out, the computer shut off.

Could I have shorted something? Most likely the Motherboard?
I tried re connecting power cord and on and off with the power supply- it's dead.

What should I do?

Could have been a static shock or pulling it at a direction could have shorted out the USB buss.

Well... you're best but is to switch out components to see what fried (one by one). I'd start with the PSU, if you got another one.

Also, what happens when you try to turn it on? ie. fans spin? beeps? HD's spin up? nothing at all?

You might also try connecting a PS2 KB and Mouse, and then clearing the CMOS.

I don't really know what happened, I think when I pulled the USB it touched some other metal part that caused a short.
But evertyhing works now! I just reconnected the USB keyboard and reconnected the power cord after a few mins.
