Lol the Dems may have to convince him to run for their party instead. Hard to say how he’d do in the primary with all the Repugicans. But if he’s running as a Dem against the orange monkey, he’ll get all the Dem and Ind vote and the RINO vote. Poor orange monkey would only get the loyal MAGAtard base.

Doubt he can win Iowa, but NH.. Yeah.

I'd consider voting for him.
 
I could have sworn Hogan said he wasn't going to run for pres. Maybe there was a senate seat that opened? In any event, he's not batshit crazy and enjoys widespread popularity in Maryland. If republicans put him up, I could easily see him winning. The only thing I don't like, is that he could be taken down a path by the party at the national level that he's so far avoided. It would be truly tragic to see him join the ranks of Qanon, birtherism, etc.
 
Doubtful. He is fiscally conservative, something the republicans only play lip-service to when Dems are in office, but not socially conservative.
He isn't pro-gun, anti-abortion, anti-immigrant, anti-mask. He would only win the Lincoln Republican vote.
