As a New Yorker and a Democrat (hes Republican) I would vote for him. He has been an amazing mayor for the city and I think would be great at running this country.
Giuliani is Republican. Chances are the only way that he would get his parties nomination would be if bush really didn't want to run again. But I do think many people would like him.
Agreed, he'd have to be nominated against Bush, and Bush would really have to do something awful, like end the world, to not get the nomination IMHO. Now, let's just hope the world doesn't end. :Q

He is (according to many NYC'ers) the best mayor ever. But running a city is much different than running the country. I guess if dubya didn't run Rudy would have a chance....
GoldenBear - Are you joking? Wires must be crossed somewhere, would it not be selfish for me to say I'll hope the world does end?!!
I didn't say anything negative about Bush or that I wouldn't support his actions (in fact, I stand behind him). Just said he'd really have to do something awful to NOT get the nomination. I still believe that. Please tell me how that's selfish, and WTF is "as always" added for???
yes as a New Yorker he probably is the best mayor ever. Everyone used to think of the city as dangerous and full of crime. Everything in the city has been improved, except for where the WTC used to stand but there's nothing he can do about that.
