It would seems logical for AMD to drop socket A boards in faver of socket 754(that's it ain't it). Could they make a 32 bit socket 764, AKA Duron. How hard would that be out of curosity.
They are going to, in the near future socket A will be dead replaced by a non 64 bit version of the current Athlon 64 core (sorry i cant remember the code name for it)
