I dont think you need to send it to a tailors..looks fine by me. You could always buy an her an undershirt or a sport tank

Yeah, isn't it really difficult to add material...? I'm sure a good tailor could do it, but it would be tough and cost you a lot of money. Are you sure it wouldn't work just taking in the sides/hemming the bottom/sleeves to be more fitted and girly?

Buy the shirt big enough to allow for the "boobage" and then have the tailor remove fabric. Most tailors will refuse to alter something if it involves adding fabric. The shirt will look like crap.

You get one big enough up top, and they will remove from the sides/back.

The problem with this shirt is that the pattern on the front goes to the sides, and with what they would have to eat up to make it her size, it would not look good. the stripe would literally be on her sides.

To be honest, that shirt would probably look good on a female without being custom tailored for a female.

Oh, and a tailor is more common for suits, a "sewing shop" or "seamstress" is more common for women's clothes, such as dresses custom fit for prom, weddings, etc.

I had a tailor take-in a suit by 12 inches this spring. I thought he was going to tell me he couldn't do it, but it came out perfect.

yeah, that's what I actually thought. Buy it in M or L and then "cut it in" on the sides :)

I have a better idea, buy the shirt smaller to celebrate the boobage.
