Ok, so I have a Costco membership which is due to expire next month. They just recently opened a Sams Club a few miles closer to us than the Costco. Which one is better of the two? Pros cons?

Any input is appreciated.. gracias :)

I should add that I use my costco for mostly the groceries (beef, chicken, frozen goods)

Stick with Costco, the benefits are much better. I wish we had an alternative to Sam's around here.

i have had a sams club card for about three years. Wouldnt mind a Costco though. From what i understand to get the best deal you should shop both.

No Costco's in WI. Only Sam's. SO I really can't comment since I can't compare...

Here in Pennsylvania, we tried Sam's Club for awhile - but it wasn't really worth the membership.

When I lived in Oregon we went to Costco, I remember it being a much bigger warehouse with a better selection of bulk products. I'd stay with Costco.

Cost Co by far, the Sams Clubs around here don't carry quite as nice a selection.

I'm a member of both. I prefer CostCo, but I rarely go to Sam's. I only joined them because I bought something from their website a long time ago to resell on eBay. I think I've only went there like once or twice in person.

I don't know if you care, but I switched to Costco because Sam's is owned by Walmart and I don't like thier business practices.

Sam's had a better grocery selection, but that's pretty much it. Does Costco have any cheap bluejeans? I can get Member's Mark for like 12 bucks

I belong to both and actually worked for Costco a while back. They are both good for different things but overall I would have to say Costco is better.

Wierd fact about the 2 stores. The average Costco warehouse almost doubles the yearly sales of the average Sams Warehouse.

I don't find that big of a grocery difference in the Costco I go to.

I haven't shopped for clothes there.

I buy lots of alcohol there. I really like the wine selection.

I'm also going to by the Sunray by Rainbow playset there this summer It's very nice, I've read a lot of positive things about the playset.

Yes, they have their own brand, Kirkland Signature. Not sure how much they cost, but $12-15 sounds about right.

I have both. I go to Costco more than Sams though. Costco has better and more selections.
