I've seen the Lipton Diet Green Tea for sale in Canada as well.

I don't know why people put sugar in any tea other than Chai, but most do.

What? I'm so confused!

I've never even heard of anyone putting sugar in Green Tea. Or even most kinds of tea. I didn't even know that was a thing, much less such a huge thing that people needed a diet version of a beverage that was never supposed to have sugar in it in the first place!

Really? You have never heard of putting sugar in iced tea? You should probably try to get out more.

How do you think the British got known for those notoriously bad teeth? Sugar in their tea.

Man, I miss green tea... Stopped drinking it after learning that the majority of it was from China and laced with all the pollutants from factories near the farms.

Try some Japanese sencha style tea. I think sencha is better than normal Chinese green tea as it is, and it is fairly easy to find.

Didn't you know that sugar kills all the pollutants? Why do you think we were putting sugar in there in the first place?

"British" tea is Orange Pekoe, which I've heard is commonly taken with sugar. That's one kind of tea. It is not most kinds of tea.

There are several types of "British" teas, not all are orange pekoe, but I believe in England most are taken with sugar (at least that was my experience).

English Breakfast for example (popular in England believe it or not and the most commonly consumed tea there) is a blend of teas and is is generally taken with sugar and milk.

ah, I had no idea. I've never seen anyone take sugar in tea unless it was OP. I guess this is my thing i learned today. I'm going home.

Costco sells Kirkland Japanese green tea bags from Ito en. Give it a shot, probably way better than the other stuff you're talking about

The OP is talking about bottled iced tea. I don't think many people that want bottled iced tea are looking for tea bags.

It's not just straight men who drink tea... That's absurd. Even straight men experiment.

In the south, there is one kind of tea: Sweet. (The south generally offers something called "unsweetened" tea, but this is often available only by request).

I think this has changed a lot in recent years, but tea was basically assumed to be sweet by default (it is brewed with far, far, far too much sugar). And of course it was always iced tea.
