That burger looks bad. The cheese isn't melted and the beef patty looks all dried out. I prefer multiple thin patties to one thick patty.

Costco will listen and adjust if they do go into full selling mode.

A hamburger and a grilled cheese is the only time it's okay to eat American cheese. Any other application of it is not okay.

Nothing melts like American cheese. It's great on a burger. Cheeseburger needs American cheese.
American cheese = that weird waxy, plastic cheese type product?

If so I'm going to agree with you. That stuff is pretty horrific normally but in a cheese burger it works quite well.

At first glance, $5 seems like a lot, only b/c hot dog combo + pizza slice is less than that.

But 1/3 lb burger, if tasty, could be worth the $5. I'd be willing to try it at least once.
ding ding ding winnar!

pizza, hot dog, drink = $3.50
best freaking bang for the buck combo

beef brisket for $5 and pesto turkey sandwich for $4 aint worth it.
chicken bake for $3 is ok for that price.

chicken Caesar salad for $4 is actually a good deal.
their ~1lb bag of regular Caesar salad with dressing (in back of store where veggies are sold) is $3.29 or something like that.
and at most restaurants, a chicken Caesar is at least double that price.

I didn't realize people on ATOT actually penny pinch when it comes to spending $3 for food vs $5 holy shit.

I can see you all pulling up to Costco in your M3 and being like "nah, I can't justify spending $5 for something I would rather eat since I can get something else for $3."

Yep. I buy Kraft singles for two reasons. For smashburgers and grilled cheese. That's all I use it for. I sometimes use other more expensive and fancy cheese when I run out of Kraft singles but it doesn't melt as well.

It's not penny pinching. If the food is $5 good, I will gladly pay. But when $5 food is inferior to $1.50 food, I won't.

It's funny, they have no problem spending money on god awful expensive Chipotle but complain about Costco food court prices.

the salad, like the bbq beef brisket sandwich, is conceptually fine. it looks good on paper because the costco items are based on proven combinations.

However, when you actually eat these items you can feel your taste buds dying.
that yankee-doodled beef brisket sandwich is conceptually wrong.

I wish they stuck with coca cola products at their drink stations.

Don't get me wrong, I love pepsi products, but for some reason, Costco (at least the one I frequent) never gets the balance right between the syrup and carbonation.
i just wish they had some regular iced tea. pepsi owns an iced tea brand, but for some reason only has sweetened raspberry garbage. i just want tea and water. no sugar, no artificial flavors, nothing. 1 of those 16 fountains could be used for it. but no, just horrible pepsi, diet pepsi, and 3 other shitty flavors (of which diet pepsi is the least unpalatable, oddly).

sam's club has pepperoni-jalapeno pizza, coke in the fountain, and iced tea. oh, and i can get a seat at the food court because there's no one in there (another thing wrong with the costco food court - people see that it's packed and so save a table while their spouse/parent/whoever is waiting in line, making it so people with food can't sit and eat. fuck those people. inconsiderate assholes. i bet they parked over the line too.)

wait wait, hold on...
are they gonna start serving french fries as well?

depends on the Costco you go to. when I visited Virginia a few years ago the Costco there served up fries but didn't serve polish dogs :(

Agree. The drink selection at costco really sucks. I don't want a soda. I just want unsweetened tea.

Or maybe, they can afford to splurge on an M3 because they penny pinch elsewhere?

Nah, who am I kidding. This is ATOT where everyone who is anyone makes $$$,$$$ and does H&B. BRB taking pics of my Porsche 911 with my supermodel wife posing next to it.

It does and it is better unmelted. Fucking hate melted cheese on most burgers, especially the shit that doesn't even qualify as actual cheese that way too many places use. I'm surprised they haven't gone to injecting the patties with it instead actually.

Sorry but you are wrong, cheese should always be nice and gooey on a burger.

The girls at my local Costco said they will have it soon, whatever time frame that means. I will try it for you chowder heads, that's the kind of amazing person I am.
