costco rice

was trying ot save a few bucks by going with the white rice at costco. Biggest mistake!
the rice is terrible, its so dry and makes everything taste bad.
Well just a warning to anybody thinking about buying the rice at costco 🙂
 
no its not how its prepared, i even added double amount of water once to try that out and its still the same.

If you double the water and it turns out the same as half the water, then you are doing something wrong.

A) Which rice at costco? They have more than one variety.

B) What rice are you using for comparison? Making "real" rice is slightly more intricate than Uncle Ben's minute rice.

Right. The Jasmine Basmati rice in the burlap sack is what we get and it's great stuff.
 
costco rice isn't the best but it's far from the worst I've tasted. I've been to chinese resturants that use far worse rice.
