Costco refurbished computers

These prices seem ok or warm at best. I've seen in store refurb prices at much lower numbers than these where I live, YMMV. One great thing: Costco has some of the best if not the best return policy in the nation.

Not floaming the OP by any means, but you can generally buy better new if you're patient.

Also Costco's return policy on computers is only 6 months pbut still better than anywhere else]: Effective November 4th, 2002, Costco Wholesale?s desktop and notebook computer return policy is six-months from the date of purchase. After six-months from the date of purchase, all service and technical support will be subject to the applicable remaining manufacturers' warranty

Dell, Compusa, & the Office stores [Max, Depot] regularly have some sort of deal for super cheap. Even if the stats aren't exactly like some of the configurations on Costco's site, you can easily buy cheap & then upgrade what you need [& still make out].

btw...I'm still enjoying the July Midnight Madness Compusa promo where I got a A64 3400 Compaq system for $140 after rebate 🙂

This close to Black Friday & X-Mas, I'd recommend to wait out any significant computer purchases.

Best computer deals from when I last checked on costco.com were hp/compaque customizable deals. You get whatever promotion hp is currently giving plus a bit extra off. At least that's how things looked last time I checked it out.

For two years my friend would buy/return his laptop computer every 6 months and get a newer model.

I've personally bought a laptop and returned it 3 months later but decided not to purchase another one. They even WANTED me to go grab another laptop, I guess they hate doing refunds.
