Costco Question?

Well not really about Costco so much as a questoin on warehouse stores in general. Are there any Costco-ish stores that take Visa or Mastercard? My GF and I have a Citi dividends card and it gives us 5% back on food purchases but we cant use it at Costco of course since they only take AmEx. We do the huge bulk of our shopping there and it would be a nice way to save about $150 a year on that alone.

Does anyone know where you can get similar prices and deals on food but use a Mastercard to pay for it?

Nope and the reason I suspect is because of VISA/MC's processing fees (around 3%).

CostCo takes Amex.

Sam's Club takes Discover.

Sam's clubs around here take Mastercard.
BJ's takes both as far as I know.
Closest Costco is 150 miles away.

You have a check card, maybe they're ringing it up as Debit? My local Costco and others I've been to only take Debit, cash, or Amex. BJs on the other hand (following taken from their site FAQs):

Q. Can I pay with my credit cards?
A. BJ's offers the most payment options in the wholesale club industry. In addition to cash, checks and debit cards, you can charge your purchases on your MasterCard, VISA, or Discover/Novus credit cards.

Plus, BJ's is the only Club to offer its Members their own Card: the BJ's Platinum MasterCard. Every time you use it, you earn valuable BJ's Bucks to apply toward future purchases!
