Does anyone know which models Costco carries in store? They typically have different electronics on their web site, so I can't check there. The closest store is an hour away and I'd like to do some online research on the projectors before I buy, so driving there and checking them out isn't an option. I've tried calling, but they won't/can't tell me what they have.

When I wanted to get my Panasonic AE900 from them I called and they let me know that they didn't have it. Why aren't they letting you know what they have?

Your guess is as good as mine.

Does costco have a main calling station like best buy? I ask because I was able to call that one and they accessed my local best buys on hand stock and told me what projectors they had on hand when I was in the market. I ended up getting a H31 for $599 AR which I linked in the HD section for they extended the rebate till the 12/31. I got that and a cheap 100" screen from Tiger Direct so the whole thing cost me less then $700 out the door for everything.
Just throwing that out there if your looking for a good PJ and not looking to spend too much. I almost bought the H27 screen costco deal but that came close to $900 out the door and a smaller screen. Yeah a better waranty through Costco but the PJ has a 3 year warranty though Optoma and really in 3 years I will be ready to go HD, Maybe. But after seeing the $599 deal and reading on the PJ at the AVsforums I was sold on it.

They're pretty tightlipped about products they offer in their warehouses.

Bummer.

Do you need to order it from a B&M costco or would you be ok ordering it from Costco Online? Is it that you want to see them in person before getting one? I think an acutal AV store would be a much better bet if that's what you're after.

EDIT: hmmm, not much of a selection online either :p
