I hope its not TOO crowded.I think Costco buys surplus gas from various gas stations, so you never know where the gas comes from, but I have never had any problems

They've broken the $1/gal threshold around here. Not every station, mind you, but we are starting to see glorious two digit fuel prices.

BTW - soaring gas prices had zero effect on large vehicle (SUVs, trucks, etc..) purchases. people are buying more bigger cars now than they ever have beforoe.

I heard they take bids for gas from all except Arco? or something like that, but they are not low quality gas.
The New Costco in City of Industry was $1.05 yesterday great place to go so new there's almost nobody there (but don't shop there, even thru they moved to the bigger location too many people still go there).
As for 87/92 debate, I read the article from C/D and I find it very true (but most of the cars they tested were v-6 or above engines). I don't have a performance vehicle but it's a sports car (95 mustang coupe V6) and I find with premium I jerk less when shifting gear one to two to three (stick) and it accelerates smoother. In the past I also noticed when a car gets older there seems to be a performance difference too in using 92 gas. Wish C/D tested more cars (maybe a few non-turbo charged four-bangers to see how much they would improve) and at different ages to see if it really does matter.

Yeah, baby! Cheap gas is a great way to guarantee that the Big Three will continue to ignore fuel-efficient cars. :disgust:
damn! just filled up for 1.53 for 87oc, in San Ramon (nor cal)..and the freaking Chevron refinery is like 20 miles away. I don't think we'll ever see sub $1 prices in the bay area again.
East Coast is always having cheaper gas than the Bay Area. So most likely this is good for the Bay Area drivers only

Have you ever driven a CNG vehicle? with approximately 1/3 to 1/2 the distance traveled with 3 tanks the size of small jet fuel cells under my Van and a horribly loud and painfully slow fill up time the gasoline alternative is much better.
Anyone ever wonder why those 2 successful cold fusion tests were never repeated? Am i conspiracy advocate. NO but i do believe there are and always will be things we'll never know about until the last minute and last gallon of oil is being sucked form this earth. and whatever it's replacement will cost at least a dollar more per mile than anything we have now.

I paid $.77 in Riverdale and $.76 in Alpharetta this week.

$1.14 again..was down to $1.06 now on way back up. Crooked Politician pockets must be getting empty again. This is all bullsh_t.....the Fed ought to step in with price regulations. No way someone in Cali should pay $1.40 for the same sh_t someone in Tx gets for 83 cents. Everyone ought to pay one price for fuel.

None of the Portland area ones sell gas that I know of. The one in Eugene does, as well as Florence I think, and the gas here in Eugene is $0.97 a gallon!!
