Went to my local (Denver) Costco today, and they have a deal on a 4pk of 60W equivalent dimmable LED bulbs for $3.99. The bad thing is they compute tax on the original price of $14.99, with a rebate of $11 per package (it was a total of $5.01 for me). It seems there is a limit of 3 boxes.
I tried these out, they are made by FEIT, they make them pretty lightweight these days, and they look a lot like the older incandescent bulbs now, except for the metal collar. Even though they are dimmable, and I'm using the LED/CFL dimmer, they don't dim all the way. However, the light they produce is fairly nice, not as white as older LEDs.
