It's really part of that ongoing Republican anti-intellectualist theme. Education and experience are bad, because they supposedly make you an elitist who loses touch with the average person; gut instinct and emotion are what matter. The kids who made fun of you for being a "brainer" in school are now in charge of the country.

You'd expect this kind of response from a Trump administration mouthpiece in particular, but still, this is really just the culmination of a Republican strategy that has persisted for years, if not decades.

The relentless assault on science is troubling. The flat earth movement is one of the fastest growing movements in America. It is hard to imagine what useful purpose people with such broken thinking could be put to (other than serving burgers or cleaning bathrooms).

So what? That doesn't change the necessity of having a decent job to live a decent life in this country. Well, unless you're independently wealthy at which point you're obviously entitled to look down on working people because they're not.

You go on about racist degens while taking a classist degen attitude yourself.

If that's your concern, it's simple matter of historical fact that the difference between degens and liberalism is the adherence to factual reality vs. mouthy rhetoric, which rather makes you far closer to said degens by definition.

Also quite the comedy with accusing anyone else of classism.

And the usual duh-flection, obviously. It's not like I've represented anybody's livelihood as "trivial". You have, apparently believing yourself to be of higher rank in the "caste system" you claim to despise.

Great job illustrating the trouble illiberal minds have accepting the simple fact that some jobs are more trivial to automate than others.

I never said otherwise. OTOH, that's not what you said as you were looking down your nose-

automation that replaces their trivial jobs

If those jobs were trivial they wouldn't be replaced by automation performing the same tasks & delivering the same end product.

Also, as I pointed out, having a job isn't a trivial matter to people who need them.

Your poor reading comprehension is hardly my problem. If you're just looking for someone to blame, I'd say your language arts teachers, but knowing you it'll somehow be the 1%.

Back on topic, did anyone catch Jon Oliver this week? He had a video from when Miller was running for HS class president and it was hilarious. Miller was asking why students should have to pick up their trash when the school had janitors to do that.

The irony of a using Stalin's anti-Semitic slur to attack his enemies escapes Stephen Miller entirely.

IMO perfect illustration of the current admin when Trump heralds loyalty, then turns to a mouthpiece who just unhitched his wagon from Sessions when that became unprofitable.

Too funny from the guy who only posts about class.

I argue for a more egalitarian society- You know, like the one we had 40 years ago before we decided that trickle down economics were good for us, before the 99% fell victim to the greed of the financial elite.

True enough for white folks at the time due to the relative shortage of white labor. You know, exactly what trumpsters want to make true "again".

Hardly unexpected they manage to outsmart dumbshit tier democrats every time.

It was true enough for all working Americans regardless of race.

No, a simple matter of history that minorities at the time were mostly only employable in lowest tier jobs. Your poor victimized white nationalist friends are certainly smart enough to figure out a lot less competition = higher pay, even if dumbshit tier democrats aren't.

As I linked earlier, people at the lower end of the economic food chain have lost out big time to the people at the tippy top, regardless of race.

Degens don't have anything to do with it.

Does it really? Here's a cartoon that the Bannon camp of deplorables has been circulating in recent weeks to undercut H.R. McMaster. The green hand seems quite "cosmopolitan" indeed.

Pretty sure segregation/caste system have something to do with degeneracy, even if it's in the interest of friends to white nationalists to deny this fact.

Ben Garrison- ugh. The boy ain't right in the haid. Not right a-tall.

The financial elite is basically color blind, truly cosmopolitan in their greed. We're all just numbers on the spreadsheets. They're the ones with the Power & the propaganda machine designed to promote divisiveness. You just sow your own little version of the same thing.

Too bad their racist allies aren't.
