OP, if you will be keeping this card for a while, I would consider waiting till HD 9000 series coming out, and picking up one of those or a 780 if they drop in price.

Who said anything about value? Did you read the thread? This is a card to tide over until a rebuild which will go into the new build when it's complete. Not asking about $250 cards.

I corrected my OP in a follow-up, stating the new card WILL be used in the new build which will happen prob in late Fall/early Winter of next year. Sorry...

To this point, I'm liking the EVGA 770 SC w/ACX for @ $420, the Gigabyte 4 GB 770 for @ $460, and the MSI Lightning for @ $449.

Shmee... any links to that card you just mentioned, the "HD9000 series".... ?

There are rumors that around october we will see a new AMD card. If you can wait, maybe not a bad idea?

Since it's just rumor there are no links to be had right now.
