Corvette finally arrived

Picked her up last week after placing my order back in August. Had Xpel put on the entire front, hood, fenders, rockers and spoiler. So far the car is remarkably better than my previous '10 Corvette is pretty much every way. The only thing that I plan on doing right now is blacking out the chrome strip on the front.








My daughter is already trying to steal the keys from me 🙂

 
Nice - I was wondering when you were going to pick yours up. Mine arrived at the local dealer last Friday (I had a 10/20 TPW). I have not yet been able to pick it up as the selling dealer forgot to send me the paperwork, and I have to fly home to sign papers for my credit union. Hope to have it in my possession by next Tuesday or so.

I was debating between red, white, and blue (lol how patriotic right). I ended up going with White, but I love them in torch red. Really looks exotic!
 
I have to admit in the pics you posted, this car looks really good. When I first saw pics of it early on, I didn't care for it at all.... then saw it on Jay Leno's Garage and really liked it. I have seen a few on the street over the summer and again, didn't care for it. Saw a yellow convertible the other day and really thought it was ugly. So very mixed feelings on them.

There's no doubt they perform so that goes without saying.

Congrats on the purchase either way!

We'll have red, white, and blue covered on this board once I sell my green one and pick up my new blue one.

I will admit the looks are polarizing for me...sometimes I like it and sometimes I feel it is overwrought. If I were to buy one, it would definitely be in black to mute the styling. Either way, the car is a fantastic piece of engineering.

We've got it covered now. I've got a Laguna Blue 2014 Z51 I've been driving since May.

Probably one more week and then it gets put away for winter. Getting too cold for good traction up here. Taking it week by week though, if it warms up I'm going to keep driving it.

It's not horrid, but IMO the space is a little big for the size of the car to be missing any sort of visual detail.

lol at the ton o'chrome grill. I like the stock single chrome look. And that car overall is hotter than 12 suns. Congrats.

I can always remove the Plasti Dip if it doesn't look good or get a Z06 grill down the road. Chrome is one area where I agree with the Europeans, it doesn't belong on cars.
