CORSAIR XMS3 8 GB (2 x 4) - $28 AR - Thoughts/Experiences?

I'm building a new PC and came across these as the best deal on newegg (CORSAIR XMS3 8GB)

Any reason to spend $10 to $15 more on GSKILLS or another alternative?

It's 1.5V - 1.65V. This suggests to me that it's not guaranteed to run at 1.5V stable. Would not use on a Sandy Bridge platform.

It works fine on Sandy Bridge builds; I have some right here.

Don't always trust Newegg on specs. Corsair's website says this stuff is 1.5V: http://www.corsair.com/cmx8gx3m2a1333c9.html

Its fine AR, but if you don't want to mess with rebates, you can get 8GB of Crucial DDR3 1600 1.35V for $35.

My thoughts/experiences? I have an extra set sitting around because I couldn't say no to 8GB for $30AR

I have that set in my desktop that I made a few weeks ago. They work fine now, but when I ordered them, one of the sticks was faulty. It was a pain to get them replaced, but once I did, it worked perfectly
