The Newegg Ram is better if you're looking at pure specs, but relatively, the diff. between the two will be minimal. By the way, the Tigerdirect Ram in Canadian dollars is way overpriced. I am Canadian myself and bought my parts from ncix.com. The ram I bought was 1 Gb Corsair Twin-X XMS 3200-LLPT-notice the Platinum Version For $326 Canadian. Timings are 2-3-2-10 (10 for A64). NCIX has excellent service and RMA dept. They are a Canadian company based out of Vancouver and I live on Vancouver Island so shipping was overnight. Ordering from them was simple and they also have several retail stores in Vancouver. They are kind of like the newegg of Canada (well, before newegg went downhill). They also ship to the U.S. Prices are maybe a few dollars from low, but much less than Tigerdirect and Big-Box stores.

I'm going to be building a machine consisting of an ASUS motherboard and the AMD 64 3500+... Which RAM from Corsair would you suggest I put into my machine? This machine will be used primarily for gaming, by the way. Could you also send me a link to RAM on the NCIX webpage? Thank you greatly.

i really doubt that. it is most likely the samsung tccd chips, as bh5 has been out of production for quite a while now.

What is the difference between the two?

The BH-5 chips could run at faster speeds when overclocking. They were very good chips if I recall correctly. However, the BH-5 chips are now in the hands of people. None are being sold anymore (or rarely at least), except on ebay.

Here.
Corsair Ram @ NCIX.com

if the link doesn't work, just go to ncix.com and look in Memory/Ram under Corsair. It is also at the top of the ram page under the top ten most popular. I have it in a S754 MSI-K8N NEO Platinum/A64 3400+ @
2-3-2-10 running completely stable. (10 for A64) rated @ 2-3-2-6, so your worries of it not working w/A64 won't happen

The XLPT is better, but you do not need to pay more for the Pro version just because of the LED lights that shine during data transfer and processing.

Get the regular XMS XLPT 3200 with 2-2-2-5 timings.
They are using Samsung Chips, not the BH-5 as I remember reading from an article from Anandtech

The difference is that one uses CH-5 that does 2-3-2-6 i believe,
and the other is at premium timings at 2-2-2-5

of course NForce 2 boards would desire 2-2-2-11 ;)
