Corsair or OCZ?

What's the faster and better brand for non-overclockers? And when I install RAM I hear lots of people talking about changing the voltage, when do you do this or is it only for OC'ers?

corsair xms , isn't it supposed to be overclockers ram or gmaers ram
thoguh corsair value select may not oc too well

Corsair and OCZ are both very high quality ram. You can't really lose either way. But if you have a DFI board I would suggest OCZ. It just seems to work better. Not to mention Anand seems to love the OCZ EL Platinum Rev 2 stuff.

You can't just go by the brand, you have to look at the timings for the sticks you plan to buy.

I just want fast ram as I am a hardcore gamer😀

Waiting for the next gen (R520) Crossfire mobo.😕

By the way, out of OCZ or Corsair I just want a 1GB RAM stick but theres like 5 versions of it for different prices...Such as:

-----OCZ-----

OCZ Value Series

-----Corsair-----

Corsair DDR PC3200 (400MHz) CL2.5
Corsair DDR PC3200 (400Mhz) CL 3
Corsair ValueSelect DDR2
Corsair XMS2 Xtreme Memory Speed DDR2
XMS DDR Memory Modules

I have no idea which one to choose for fast RAM meant for gaming...

Well, right away you can eliminate some of those as DDR 2 is only for Intel and DDR is for AMD and Intel. Other than that I can't help much, I just plan to get 2x1gb Corsair Value Select, oc the cpu and run a memory divider
