Corsair memory problem

Just built a new system with the P5B Deluxe using a C2D 6600 and Corsair XMS2 DDR2 memory 2 sticks of CM2X512A-6400. My problem is when i have both sticks installed in A1 and B1 slots i get nothing, it powers up but no display and no beeps. With the help of Asus tech support I got it running with just 1 stick in B1 slot, he told me to update the bios "version 0706" and try it again with both sticks. Well i did the update and still wont run with both sticks. This memory is on the QVC list for this board. Is it bad memory or what? It will run with either stick in B1. What can I do to fix this?

Sounds like you may have a bad stick of memory. Did you try using both of the sticks in the B1 slot? If one works and other doesnt then my first guess is that one of those sticks is bad.
