These seem to work pretty good....Tested one on a e5200 @4.16ghz and the temps hovered around 58c under OCCT stress testing with the supplied thermal compound even.

Have used several. It is very easy to use 2 fans, one on each side of the radiator. Virtually inaudible and cools heavily OCed i7's great. Fits in some HTPC cases with no problem...Antec Fusion for instance.
 
Had me hooked until I found none of the BB's in my area stock it, so that's another $6 s/h. Not that $68 [($60+$6s/h)*1.07(tax)-$3(Bing)] is impossible, just less attractive....
 
Picked on up today; last one unless they are only stocking 1 at a time.

I noticed that you cannot go by the online stock. I tried to place an orde online and it said no stock. Went to the same store today and got one

nope.. you can't just pop out the hoses... it's a completly sealed unit... if you do manage to pop of the hoses, it probably wouldn't be as effective because you've broken the seal. this is a unit that doesn't need to refilled because it's air tight. There's no plastic parts in the actual water loop so there is not where for the water to evaporate, unlike a DIY system which contains air leaks that allow water vapor to escape over time.

There are mods that can be done though; allowing you to add a reseroir, your own tubing or what not.

But I don't know why you'd want to void your warranty by getting rid of the tubing, which is Teflon lined to prevent evaporation of the coolant (remember, this is a closed system, never to be opened, so the coolant has to stay inside and not evaporate through the tubing) and very expensive itself, or put a reservoir in line, essentially doubling that component since the system already has a built-in reservoir.

Also, forget the changing the cpu block as the unit's cpu block has the pump integrated into it.

If you're going to start changing this system around, just go buy separate components from Jab-Tech or Sidewinder or Petra's or wherever and forget this unit.

If, on the other hand, you can resist voiding your warranty and use it as intended, it'll work as well as most mid-to-upper end air coolers and be quieter at the same time.

I was just stating that it can be modded as one of the above posts asked about access to the lines or whatever it was exactly.

My DIY system has been fine since 2004. No vapor escapes whatsoever, so it's quite possible to build a watercooling system that is, in effect, "sealed".
