I have to say that the case looks pretty visually pleasing (despite what the dull name might suggest). Nice to see a Corsair mid-tower that is approaching the area I can afford. Looks like it keeps a lot of the cable management as well.

2x 200mm fans (1 at top as exhaust, 1 at bottom as intake)
1x 120mm fan at back as exhaust

Looks like they thought of everything (even moving the case with the bezel)

Also note the 1200W Corsair PSU in the case 😀

Actually plastic (resin) can be a good thing. Sharp cornered metal just gets dented to hell and back if the case gets dropped/thrown on the floor! Steel rusts too!
 
The mesh on top is too much, and I don't like the rounded bits or the plastic, Or a bottom fan. Hello dust/cat hair

Insides look great. Outside not so much. I could hear the plastic bending just by looking at it. I have to say the aesthetics of alot of the newer cases are very meh to me.

I was just thinking this. Although I like the single release latch for the cosmos more than the dual release in the 600t.
 
Corsair needs to a make an Obsidian series mid tower as well...

I would go for this for a (1) secondary/LAN rig and (2) under the $100 price point.

It looks like something in the ball park of haf 922 in terms of feature set - 200mm fans, cpu but out, cable management, accommodations for long video cards but has no side fan. and I agree with previous poster, 150 is too much for such a plastic looking case. haf 922 was on sale about 70 USD, 90 normal, this case is about 90-100 at most I'd pay for its features. for 150 I'd buy a better case than this. it's got a lot of competition at even 100-120 range like stormscout/sniper/ and all those antec 90x series and bunch other copy cats. this case in short doesn't stand out as something that special. If it's made of mostly Aluminum I'd look at it more.

they mentioned it's a lower version of 800D, personally they look like very different class of cases to me.

Meh. It looks interesting, but, like others have said, there's far too much plastic. At least this should bring them closer to the "mainstream computer enthusiast" market - people who walk into Best Buy, Frys, Microcenter, etc. and pick something up on impulse alone.
 
Anyone else notice that there may not be enough clearance from that 200mm fan up top when using a huge CPU HSF such as a Scythe Ninja or CC V8 or any of the larger ones?

the 800D was class... the 700D is class... the 600T looks like made in china.
 
Looks like a nice case for the proposed price range, I like how they put the washable air filter in a super easy drop down in the front.

I would suspect they ARE all made in China

I was hoping for some more Lian-Li, Silverstone exterior design rip off with more of the interior inovation.

I'd like a smaller, Aluminum 800D with a front door for around $250
 
Thanks for all the feedback. One thing we knew going into the case market is that cases are by far the most subjectively judged part of a computer. You can evaluate quality of build and materials, the functionality of the features, etc of course. But, it's impossible to create a case that appeals visually to everyone.

Make a TJ07 / V1000 look-alike, all aluminum, with modern features and great cable management (already known of Corsair's cases) and I'll give you my left testicle. It's a good deal, trust me! 😛

Seriously though, exterior curves really help a case to look classy and top-notch. The main reason why I went with an FT02 over a 800D is the boxy vs. curved structure. The 800D is still an excellent case, but I don't like my computer to look like an appliance or a piece of equipment from the 80s. 😉 I have similar criticism for most other case manufacturers these days, though, even Silverstone and Lian Li (though the TJ11 looks tempting).
