Make a TJ07 / V1000 look-alike, all aluminum, with modern features and great cable management (already known of Corsair's cases) and I'll give you my left testicle. It's a good deal, trust me! :p

LMAO...I'll check inventory and see if we need any more of those.

Thanks for all the feedback. One thing we knew going into the case market is that cases are by far the most subjectively judged part of a computer. You can evaluate quality of build and materials, the functionality of the features, etc of course. But, it's impossible to create a case that appeals visually to everyone.

It's a nice case with tons of great features and I think it'll sell well. That said, it doesn't appeal to me very much (just looks wise). However, the Obsidian 800 does. I saw one in person and was blown away--I couldn't believe it was Corsair's first case. My next build will 100% for sure have one, I saw it in person at Fry's, opened it up, saw the cable management...about fell over and bought it on the spot. So yeah, this is nice and will appeal to many...however...

PLEASE make a mid-tower version of the Obsidian. Doesn't need as many drive bays, etc--but keep the PSU at bottom design and keep the cable management rubber thingies (we all love those). That way you can appeal to both those of us that like the squared industrial design stuff, and those who like the more modern rounded looks and more controls. :)

Hopefully we do see a midtower 800D, though those will probably sell out near instantly :<

I don't have a problem with the plastic because it doesn't seem to be flimsy/cheap at all, and it may actually serve a purpose (though I question the logic of carrying the case with those plastic parts). I would rather see a handle akin to that on the Cooler Master Storm Scout if Corsair really wanted to make the case more portable. Just seems more reliable to have a handle rather than pulling on the protruding plastic.

Yeah, saying that the front and back of the case makes it easier to carry is a bit odd and a non feature really.

I love the handle on my Storm Scout.

It looks ugly. The mesh makes it look really tacky, the curves make it even more so, and the colour is the final finishing touch to making it look like some plastic tacky fall-apart thing you bought for $20 about a decade ago. I really like God Mode's comment. I really, really wish it looked more like a scaled-down 800D.

Guys, keep in mind that this is coming from Corsair's value Graphite line...it's clearly not targeted to the higher end Obsidian fans.

I like the case and design, but it's too expensive for being plastic.

Oh no. Air purifiers are MUCH more expensive. This would be a bargain at the price.
