Hoping you can help - I've tried looking already but cant seem to find an Answer.
I have had the Same PC for years and now need to update the RAM from 2x2gb sticks to 1x8 GB
New Ram: CORSAIR - DDR3 1600 MHz 8 GB - CMV8GX3M1A1600C11
Motherboard: GA-H55M-UD2H Rev 1.0
I am unable to get it to work. The PC will boot up to the BIOS splash screen, then a few seconds later will reset.
I've updated the BIOS to the latest Version - Still didn't work
I seen a post elsewhere which suggested i needed to change settings in bios to MIT >> Advanced Memory Settings >> XMP: "Profile1" and no luck
Could it be a compatibility issue? Or a faulty Ram Stick? I have no other computer to try the Ram.
