I searched the manufacturer web site and couldn't find a reference to CAS2 PC150 SDRAM. I wonder if this is a misprint on spartaintech web site. They clearly list it as CAS2:
<< Just do a search (ctrl-f for IE) and put in "CM654S256-150C2" >>
Sorry, I need to be clearer. The memory is listed on the spartaintech web site as being manufactured by Corsair and you are correct in that it is clearly listed as CAS2 PC150 SDRAM.
However, I went to corsairmicro.com and looked through their listings for PC150 SDRAM and Corsair does not indicate that they manfuacture PC150@CAS2. They only list PC150@CAS3.
So, I wonder if the spartaintech reference is a misprint, or if the Corsair web site is lagging in listing their own product offerings.
And I do agree that spartaintech.com and pcprogress.com appear very similar in the order pipeline. Both stores have a Central Illinois exchange on their non-toll free phone numbers and their reseller rating is 5.0 and 5.4. Maybe different storefronts for the same wharehouse/company.

Definitely go with Corsair! I had some of the Kingmax PC150 and it wouldn't even do 133 at CL2 - I had to use CL3. My results might not be typical, but I was highly disappointed to say the least.
pcprogress is $1 cheaper, $99 only.
Very interesting, pcprogress and spartantech are both Site Developed by: Net Results, Inc.
same page layout, same shopping cart, same check out page, same shipping charge.
could they be same company?
I do believe they are the same, if you check the addresses, they are both the same.......gotta make you wonder. Except I bought a couple things from p.c. progress a couple of weeks ago and everything went perfectly.
I live about 30 minutes from Pcprogress, they just moved to a new building and seem to have merged with Spartan Technology.i've purchased alot of hardware from them in the last couple years and never had a problem.
I've been dealing w Spartan Tech since late '98 and never had a problem even w returns. They're not always the lowest price but consistently lower than most. Never heard of this other company.
I tried to put 2 into the cart, the good thing is they charge same shipping as buying 1.
the 3rd one in pricewatch list for this ram charges double shipping for buying 2, could be triple for 3, etc..
I haven't tested Corsair yet, but I have a stick of KingMax pc150 128meg and I ran it at 157mhz @ 2/2/2. That's the highest I can test it at the moment.
I recently bought 2 sticks of Crucuial 256meg. I was able to get it to run 153 @ 2/2/2 stable but I had to bump the I/O voltage to 3.6 volts. It also did run at 157mhz but at cas 3 though.
