Corsair makes great power supplies, I put a Corsair AX650 in my dads computer, I was impressed with even the packaging it came in, had the PSU in a nice bag and everything.

I would get the CX500 to have a little wiggle room.

Corsair doesn't make any power supplies. Their branded ones are made by several different manufacturers. The CX600V2 is made by Channel Well Technology of Taiwan.

By the way, I believe the AX650 is a Seasonic product, so it's no surprise it's been great for you.

Yeah I know they don't make them themselves, but any product they put their name on is a quality component. You are correct the AX650 is made by Seasonic.

Channel Well is not a bad brand by any means.

They make some good, they make some schlock. They're not as reliably good as Seasonic or FSP, in my view.

But I never said these Corsair-branded ones are bad. The CX430V2 is a very nice value power supply. Heck Newegg has been selling it for as little as $20 recently. You won't find anything else as good for that price, that's for sure.

The 600w CX V2 has a MBTF of 100,000 hours.

I want more information about MBTF.

Does 100,000 hours is a good value for the reliability in long term ?

Thank-you !
