Corsair 520w not working correctly?

I have the Corsair 520w psu. I am running a gts 8800 G92 with 512mb of memory and my E6750 is overclocked to 3.2 ghz. Ram is 2gb of Mushkin DDR2-800.

I had COD4 running for an hour or more playing online and my system abruptly shut down then turned back on 6 seconds later. Is my psu not giving enough power or did something else happen to it?

I ask about power because when windows came back I got an Nvidia message saying my GTS wasn't getting sufficient power but I didn't know whether to believe it or not.

Thanks for any insight.

make sure yoru PSU is plugged in all the way. I have heard of someone having a core loose at the PSU connection and bumping it, causing problems. Also try reseating your card and possibly switching the PCI-E connector you have plugged into the card...also make sure that is firmly plugged in.

You do have the PCI-e power connector plugged into the 8800GTS, right?

No, as a memory company guy, I cannot make MOBO recommendations as we have to stay on equal footing with all of them. Others here I am sure can make good informed recommendations.
